Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, signed a contract worth over SAR 175 million with one of the specialized national companies to establish and design a regional veterinary laboratory for diagnosing diseases as well as producing and localizing vaccines in Riyadh.
In a statement, the ministry said the laboratory will contribute to conducting research and applied studies that serve the livestock and animal health in the Kingdom. It will also become a regional reference laboratory for the Middle East in high biosecurity levels.
