Experience 56 years of love this Valentine’s Day at MR CHOW Riyadh

Cementing itself as the go-to destination for high-octane and glamorous dining in the Saudi Capital, MR CHOW Riyadh is celebrating its first Valentine’s Day with a romantic soiree to remember. Combining Hollywood-inspired romantic touches with exquisite flavors, the famous restaurant – a hotspot for A-list celebrities and legendary clientele – is also celebrating 56th years of love, marking 56 years since it opened in London on Valentine’s Day in 1968. 

This February 14th, couples, loved ones and friends are invited to indulge in a romantic dining experience that ignites the senses, with a special three-course Valentine’s Day set menu and unforgettable evening. Available in two settings, between 6pm and 7:30pm and 8pm onwards, the evening begins with a welcome drink, as guests enter the restaurant through a giant heart-shaped red rose arch - the perfect romantic picture moment. Dinner takes place in MR CHOW’s sleek, minimalist and dimly lit dining room, imbued with sultry, nocturnal hues and creating a romantic atmosphere. Embodying the evening’s spirit of ‘love in every detail’, giant bouquets and vases of red roses will adorn the room and the ceiling emblazoned with the words ‘Happy Valentine’s Day.

Two three-course menus will be available on the evening, showcasing some of MR CHOW’s most loved dishes. Menu A is available for bookings between 6pm and 7:30pm for SAR325 and begins with a choice of Glazed Prawns with Walnuts, Chicken Satay Lobster Shumai and Squab with Lettuce, before moving onto the mains: a choice of Beijing Chicken, Gamblers Duck, Nine Seasons Prawns and Lamb Shank. All mains are served with mixed vegetables and fragrant sauteed rice. For bookings made after 8pm, Menu B will be available for SAR445 per person, with the addition of Fresh Scallop on the Shell as a choice of starters and decadent Mai Mignon and Fresh Lobster for mains. Both menus finish with a sumptuous Red Velvet cake and are served with a classic Rossini cocktail or non-alcoholic champagne and strawberry puree.

During the evening, guests will be entertained by Samir Bendahman, also known as DJ Fabulous, creating a vibrant and elevated atmosphere. Instant cameras will be stationed across the restaurant to capture precious Valentine’s Day moments, with photos printed and perfectly kept safe in a specially designed Valentine’s photo sleeve. Other stand-out Valentine’s Day decorations include a beautiful table set up with individually printed Valentine’s Day menu and fresh red roses. 

Born in London in 1968 and with venues in Beverly Hills, Miami, Las Vegas and New York City, MR CHOW comes to the Kingdom in partnership with MJS Holding. Founded by pioneering restauranteur and businessman Mohammed Jawa. MR CHOW’s Valentine’s Day three-course menu is available on 14th February 2024, priced at SAR325 for bookings before 7:30pm and SAR445 from 8pm onwards.
