Diriyah Gate Development Authority’s (DGDA) CEO Jerry Inzerillo said that the project will be ready to receive 3 million visitors by the Founding Day, February 22, 2025.
In an interview with Al-Ekhbariya TV, Inzerillo added that the project is being implemented as scheduled and within the specified budget.
He pointed out that a huge number of residential units have been offered for sale under the Ritz Carlton, Raffles and other brands, adding that half of those units have already been sold.
According to the top executive, the new golf course is close to be completed, while work is currently underway on the Diriyah Royal Golf Club and the Royal Equestrian Club, with the foundation and infrastructure works have been finalized in full. The construction works are set to kick off soon.
DGDA started the first phase of rehabilitating and developing historic Diriyah in June 2020, with a value of SAR 75 billion. The master plan covers an area of seven square kilometers and includes a variety of tourism and entertainment spots, according to data compiled by Argaam.
