Heritage Middle East Museum and Exhibition Technologies Fair & Conference 2019 - dubbed as the first museum, arts and culture focused exhibition and conference in the Middle East – ended on 2 October, 2019 with a positive response from exhibitors and visitors alike.
Following three days of packed activities including the exhibition, business talks, panel discussions, conferences, socializing and networking from 30 September to 2 October 2019, the 1st edition of Heritage Middle East 2019 concluded by setting new records. According to the organizer’s latest statistics, 60+ participating exhibitors were able to leverage agreements and business opportunities from the platform. In addition, nearly 1,200 industry professionals and visitors gathered at the expo, making it the leading professional exhibition brand in the Middle East’s museum, culture and arts industry.
Exhibitor Xavier Lopes, Head of Sales and Partnerships at Ocubo Portugal stated, "This is my first time as an exhibitor at Heritage Middle East in Abu Dhabi. I've had over many successful pre-booked appointments, as well as a lot of walk in trade, which isn't very common for exhibitions like this, so that's fantastic news. The show has been particularly good to enter the business in the UAE and GCC region, and the events around the show have been great for meeting more industry professionals, so I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking to enter or grow within the Middle East market to attend Heritage Middle East.”
Exhibitor Wafaa Maadnous, Director at Louvre Lens Valle France, said: "I had the chance to speak to exhibitors from several different regions around the world and made good connections with local companies as well. As we co-founded Louvre Abu Dhabi, we are heavily involved and aware of the UAE’s efforts in developing its tourism and culture. Our participation has enabled us to gain deeper insight into the UAE market as well as form beneficial connections through networking and unexpected meetings”.
Visitors from the UAE and other heritage capitals of the world came together to see the best from the industry under one roof in the Middle East region, as well as reaping the benefits from the perfect platform for local businesses to further penetrate the whole market.
As a significant market and international meeting point, the show ensured that B2B meetings were more productive and offered its participants a new and professional environment.
