In an event held at the Makkah Hilton and Towers in November, Hilton Worldwide celebrated the debut graduates of its Mudeer Al Mustaqbal (Manager of the Future Program). The two-year course is designed to put select Saudi university graduates on the fast track to management positions in the hotel chain.
“It’s tremendously exciting to see the first intake of the program doing so well at this celebration of our four graduates,” said Mahmoud Mokhtar, Vice President of Operations, KSA at Hilton Worldwide. “This program will make a difference in the lives of both Saudi men and soon Saudi women because it will put them on the track to realizing their full potential.”
Mr. Mokhtar opened the celebration by congratulating the four graduates for their successful completion of the initial six-month stage of the program.
The first edition of Mudeer Al Mustaqbal was launched on May 1, 2014 with the aim of identifying Saudi university graduates displaying talent for the hospitality industry and affording them the necessary training to advance quickly. Those who excel in the program and distinguish themselves will serve as Assistant Department Managers after the first year and as Department Managers upon successfully completing the entire course.
The program targets both male and female Saudi graduates to train for management positions in the Front Office, Housekeeping and Food and Beverage areas. In disclosing details of the next Mudeer Al Mustaqbal, scheduled to commence in February, 2015, Mr. Mokhtar said that qualified female talent are encouraged to apply as the program is open to Saudi talent of both genders.

As with other Hilton Worldwide team members, graduates of the Mudeer Al Mustaqbal program have access to more than 8,000 online courses, books, documents and videos via the Hilton Worldwide University, a Hilton initiative that provides easy access to continuing education programs.
