His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, announced the conclusion of the "Middle East Green Initiative Summit”, which was held today in Riyadh, with wide international participation led by heads of states, leaders of world countries and decision-makers. The initiative, presented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is designed to draw a regional road map to preserve and enhance life quality, address the challenges of climate change and make a global difference in the conservation of nature, humans and the wildlife.
In his speech at the closing ceremony of the summit, HRH the Crown Prince said: "We, in the Middle East, are fully aware that there is a challenge and that there are very great opportunities for our countries, so we are holding a summit today with clear goals for our countries and we will work seriously."
"Similar summits will be held in succession to follow up the objectives that have been achieved and what needs to be achieved in the future. We will stand before the world with achievements we are proud of in the Middle East," HRH the Crown Prince reiterated, expressing appreciation of all participants in the Summit for their participation and cooperation.
