HRH Saudi Crown Prince Arrives in UAE, Holds Official Talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arrived in the United Arab Emirates today on an official visit.
Upon arrival at the presidential airport, HRH the Crown Prince was received by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
HRH the Crown Prince was also received by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed, member of the Executive Council and head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan, Ambassador of UAE to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
HRH the Crown Prince was escorted by his senior hosts in an official procession to Al-Watan palace, where an official reception ceremony was held for him as the artillery fired 21 rounds to welcome HRH the Crown Prince.
Upon arrival at the venue, HRH the Crown Prince shook hands with the UAE ministers and senior officials while the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi shook hands with the Saudi princes and ministers, members of the official delegation and accompanying officials of HRH the Crown Prince.
Then, HRH the Crown Prince reviewed the Guard of Honor and the national anthems of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were played.
Then, HRH the Crown Prince and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi held an official session of talks.
At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed HRH the Crown Prince's current visit to the United Arab Emirates.
In turn, HRH the Crown Prince expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi for the warm reception and hospitality.
During the session, HRH the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, while the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also sent the greetings of the UAE President of the UAE to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
During the session, aspects of fraternal relations between the two countries and opportunities for partnership in various fields were reviewed.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international events and the efforts made in their regard.
At the conclusion of the session and on behalf of the UAE President, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi decorated HRH the Crown Prince with Zayed Medal of First Class, which is granted to kings, presidents and state leaders, in appreciation and expression of pride in the deep-rooted bilateral relations between the two countries and their strong historical ties.
The talks were attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and National Security Advisor; Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce who is also the acting Minister of Media; and Turki Al-Dakhil, Saudi Ambassador to UAE.
