Ministry of Interior, in Cooperation with SDAIA, Launches Digital Identity Project Via Tawakkalna App

The Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), launched the Digital identity project via Tawakkalna application, which includes national identity and resident identity, to enable its official use as an electronic proof of a person's identity.
This cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and SDAIA comes in implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, to enhance integration between government agencies as part of efforts to enable digital transformation to realize the goals of Vision 2030, with the aim of facilitating the lives of citizens and residents.
