LULU LAUNCHES ITALIAN FOOD FESTIVAL “LET’S EATALIAN”

Saudi Arabia: Leading retailer LuLu launched its week-long Italian food festival entitled “Let’s Eatalian”, where the authentic flavours and great-tasting food products of Italy will be showcased. The exciting festival was inaugurated by His Excellency Roberto Cantone, Ambassador of Italy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Enrico Barbieri, Italian Trade Commissioner, in the presence of Mr. Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia, together with government officials and LuLu dignitaries in a virtual event.

Mr. Shehim Mohammed shared: “LuLu has been well-known for showcasing the rich culture and food tradition of different countries all throughout the year, which makes us truly where the world comes to shop; and the great nation of Italy and its traditional cuisine are one of the favourites of both locals and expats in this country. This festival is a credible proof that our customer base makes Italian products a staple to their feasting tables. We are grateful to the Italian Embassy and organiser of the Italian Cuisine Week, Italian Trade Agency, for continuous partnership and support in organising this event.”

LuLu has flown in a lot of authentic Italian products which are offered with great discounts, featuring delicious cheeses, sauces, olive oils, and other grocery essentials for preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes. Straight from Italy, Brimi Cheese and Menz & Gasser Assorted Jams are newly launched across all hypermarkets. Apart from great quality food products, LuLu will be also showcasing Italian cuisine, from traditionally baked pizzas to sumptuous pastas, and mouthwatering desserts in its hot food stations and bakery sections in stores.
