Giving sacred Arabian traditions a glamorous Italian twist, the experience will intertwine heartfelt Italian and Saudi hospitality to create an iftar and suhoor experience like no other.
From its prime position in the heart of the bustling KAFD neighbourhood, guests can enjoy an exquisite offering of Il Baretto’s most famous creations as the sun sets across the city. A four-course dining experience will be offered iftar throughout the month, and it is available at for 184SAR per person. For suhoor, Il Baretto’s a la carte menu will be available for guests to experience.
The sharing feast begins with the sacred tradition of breaking the fast with dates, before journeying to Italy with a selection of pizzetta and an indulgent yet light Fiori di zucca in tempura con salsa al pomodore picante (tempura courgette flower with spicy tomato sauce). With the fast truly broken, the four-course feast follows – and guests are invited to savour a selection of tantalising dishes. Hearty and nourishing starters include crunchy Quinoa Salad, creamy Burrata or Carpaccio di Manzo Rucola e Parmigiano (beef carpaccio with rocket and Parmesan).
Soup and Ramadan go hand-in-hand, lining and warming the stomach, and offering a taste of both Saudi and Italian traditions guests can enjoy the classic Zuppa di Lenticchie (spicy lentil soup). Mains follow, showcasing Il Baretto signatures like Penne all’Arrabbiata and the Petto di Pollo alla Milanese (Milanese-style chicken breast with rocket and cherry tomatoes). No iftar or suhoor is complete without dessert, and the four-course Ramadan feast ends with the perfect Italian treat of an Ice Cream Mini Cone. Ice cream flavours will change throughout the month, giving guests the chance to return time and time again.
In Il Baretto Riyadh’s breezy, Italian-inspired dining room or on the terrace, guests can then embrace Ramadan’s cherished spirit and traditions with Saudi coffee and dates – available throughout the set menu.
