Nissan KSA has thrown its support behind the huge Actionha Jeddah Festival as part of its commitment to providing invigorating activities for Saudi Arabia’s youth in a safe environment. Actionha will be staged on Saturday, February 28 from 3pm to 8pm at the RC Take Off Club, Al Malek Road North in front of Red Sea mall, and will feature a host of diverse and exciting entertainment and activities. Actionha is one of the most popular events on the Kingdom’s leisure calendar and will be even bigger and better this year. Samir Cherfan, Managing Director Nissan Middle East, says: “Nissan and the Actionha festival make the perfect combination. We are totally committed to enhancing the lives of the young people of Saudi Arabia in a wide variety of ways. Actionha is a tremendous platform for this.
“This is evident by the broad range of activities, entertainment, Nissan vehicles and our state-of-the-art technology and more at Actionha. It’s one of the premier events in the Kingdom and we’re proud to be involved. “We expect the young people to be particularly impressed by the innovation in the products we have on offer. They’ll get a big taste of the future of the auto scene here.” Nissan says its partnership with distributor Alissa Auto has an unwavering commitment to Saudi Arabia’s market, in particular its young people, and support for an event such as Actionha bears testimony to this. The Nissan-Alissa Auto partnership is changing the public perception of the auto industry in Saudi Arabia at a rapid rate. Nissan is keen to bring excitement to the youth scene in the Kingdom and at the festival it is offering test drives on a 4x4 track, a drifting show of its vehicles with Lebanese rallying ace driver Abdou Faghali, demonstration of a mobile drifter and much more. Young motoring enthusiasts are certain to delight in the modified vehicles on display. Saudi Drift, the Kingdom’s only competition for this exciting sport, has captured the imagination the motoring public, particularly the younger brigade. The top drivers who took part in the recent competition will display their skills at Actionha.
Most Formula One drivers got their start in karts so the karting at Actionha is likely to attract plenty of aspiring young racers. As main sponsor of Actionha Nissan ensures there is something for everyone at the bustling event. Tickets to football’s Champion’s League final in Europe can even be won. There will be a wide variety of entertainment, from singers to rappers to Bollywood. Meantime, Nissan sales in the Kingdom are at record levels and this is in no small measure due to the host of breakthrough aftersales initiatives, from mobile service vans to fast and reliable parts supply to state-of-the art dealership facilities. Nissan has been reborn in Saudi Arabia and the aftersales service has raised the bar very high – and it gets higher all the time.
Nissan plans to quadruple its annual volumes in Saudi Arabia to 100,000 units over the next two years and increase market share to 12 per cent. The manufacturer notched regional sales of 217,685 vehicles in the financial year to March, 2014 – up 20.9 per cent on the previous year’s 180,015 – and is targeting Saudi Arabia, the region’s biggest single market, as a prime growth .
