Prince Sultan shares King Salman’s personal life at Janadriyah seminar

Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman takes pride in his religion and his country, according to Prince Sultan bin Salman, Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) chairman.
“King Salman lives his life in a confident and reassuring balance of Islamic values and ethics. These emphasize that Islam is the religion of life as well as of the Hereafter,” he said.
He made the announcement as he shared information on his father’s personal life during the second session of the seminar on “King Salman … Decisions and Achievements” at the Janadriyah festival.
Prince Sultan bin Salman, second son of King Salman and a former Royal Saudi Air Force pilot, said his father has “a high regard for his late brother, King Abdullah.”
“I have heard him say, ‘I will not change and will not destroy something done by King Abdullah, mercy be upon him.’ He was a gentleman and a great thinker and knew the future of this country.”
He added that it was under his watch that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Culture Project (Janadriyah) was created as a pilot project in the region to showcase the Kingdom’s culture and traditions.
He said that King Salman puts a premium on the accuracy of information being shared or disseminated and that he loves people.
“I have not seen anyone who loves people more than King Salman does. He visited people in their homes and shared their joys and sorrows. In return, he was, and is, loved and respected,” he said.
He stressed that King Salman is “a highly cultured man steeped in traditional Arab heritage as well as knowledgeable about Arab culture, Shariah and international sciences and one who will remind us ‘We are Arab Muslims.’”
