Renault rolls out NEW DUSTER

Renault is keeping up with its offensive in the SUV-S segment by launching the new phase of the “roomy and sturdy” Duster in GCC. New Renault Duster has been widely upgraded while retaining its very own model personality. In brief, the new Duster now casts: A reasserted exterior design and a renewed inner space, and a brand new technological features improving every single journey all at very competitive prices.

With a 10.5% share in the GCC SUV-S segment in 2014, and a growth of 73% compared to 2013, Renault Duster is asserting its popularity year after year. The new Renault Duster can rely on its new front exterior design, combined with enhanced interior comfort and practicality. In addition, a range of advanced technological features have been included to deliver an even higher level of satisfaction during every single journey. All these evolutions will continue to entice a growing majority of families looking for an affordable yet fully-equipped SUV, with a robust design and an unbeatable price-spaciousness ratio.

The front-end has been upgraded, with a redesigned grille, adorned by two chrome-plated strips and a new lower air intake, while the new double-optic headlights with daytime running lights have been added to reinforce its already imposing look. 

More modern and ergonomic, the interior of the new Duster is adapted to suit its occupants and includes various new elements such as front electric windows with driver’s one touch control, speed sensitive door locking, ISOFIX mounting points for child seat, but also two new accessible storages on the dashboard and a new instrument panel design. To be specifically in tune with Middle East customers’ expectations, the new beige upholstery and interior trim are now standard all across the range. 

For a peaceful and relaxing drive, the new Renault Duster benefits from highly noise efficient absorption fittings. Sound proofing has been improved to provide even more enjoyable rides to the driver and passengers.

With new additional metallic paints, comet grey and cosmos blue, the new Renault SUV is now available in eight colors and is delivered with topnotch technology. It comes with the new Radio Arkamys 3D Sound CD / MP3 / USB and Bluetooth®, steering wheel controls, a cruise control / speed limiter. 

The new Pack LE has also been introduced on top on the two existing equipment levels. It features rear parking sensors and the Media Nav navigation system. Media Nav is intuitive to use thanks to its 7” touch screen with customisable 2D or 3D Bird view navigation, Arabic or English GCC map is displayed with brightness adjustments & voice guidance. Media Nav as a multi-media system includes radio, AUX and USB.

The Duster-labeled chrome-plated roof bars are also instantly recognizable while the 16” alloy wheels and the imposing rear lights blocks provide an undeniable elegance to the new SUV. The chromed door mirrors and exhaust pipe give as well a refined touch.

New Renault Duster provides plenty of safety features, equipped with front driver and passenger airbags, driver seatbelt unlock alarm, three points rear seatbelts, three rear headrests, in addition to emergency braking assistance, ESP (Electronic Stability Program) is available as an option on all equipment levels.

The new Renault Duster offers a spacious interior with seating capacity for five adults, a 475 Litres bootspace, and the possibility to increase it up to 1,636 Litres with the rear benchseat folded. It is fitted with a 2.0L 16V 135 HP engine and automatic gearbox.

At the end of August 2015, Renault Duster has taken the top spot in sales in the Middle East, among the entire Renault line-up for the region.
