Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer of Amaala, has to date opened three resorts at The Red Sea destination, and plans to open the Desert Rock and Sheybarah resorts this year, Ahmad Ghazi Darwish, Chief Administrative Officer, told Al-Arabiya.
He added that 11 luxury hotels will be completed in Shura Island in 2025. RSG will also finalize the construction of the main hall at the Red Sea International Airport. The company also plans to inaugurate 79 hotels in The Red Sea and Amaala by 2030.
Darwish added that prices are important, but they are not under the company's control, as RSG is an international real estate developer that works to create tourist destinations. He explained that each operator or global hotel brand manages resorts according to their own vision, management and pricing method.
According to Argaam data, RSG announced in October 2023 the opening of the first phase of The Red Sea destination and started receiving visitors from all over the world.
