Saudi Arabia was the only candidate to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup before the deadline closed, the Saudi TV and Reuters reported.
FIFA had invited bids from Asia and Oceania for the tournament by Oct. 31.
Australia said today, Oct. 31, it will not bid to host the tournament, leaving Saudi Arabia as the only candidate.
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) earlier said that many member FIFA associations publicly pledged their support for the Kingdom within 72 hours of the SAFF decision to bid for an inaugural World Cup hosting.
Morocco, Portugal and Spain will host the 2030 World Cup, with centenary ceremony matches also taking place in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay.
Saudi Arabia will host the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023 and the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.
The FIFA Congress will officially appoint the hosts in the final quarter of 2024.
