The Carlton Hotel kicks off this winter season as a top gourmet destination thanks to its restaurant, Da Vittorio – St. Moritz. Brothers Enrico and Roberto Cerea have made the top ten of La Liste’s 1000 most remarkable restaurants, having achieved ninth place for 2017 with their restaurant Da Vittorio in Brusaporto, Italy.
“We are thrilled with this international acknowledgement and are now more motivated than ever for the upcoming winter season”, avow the two brothers, who learned the art of cooking from their father.
With three Michelin stars, Da Vittorio has been one of the very top addresses for international haute cuisine for decades. “In our kitchen, we use fresh, high-quality products that are traditionally prepared, and we apply our own individual interpretation through the use of modern technology”, say the pair, who have remained faithful to their style for many years, and who have ranked among the world’s top chefs for some time now.
After working with some of the best restaurateurs in the world, among them Heinz Winkler in Aschau, Sirio Maccioni in New York, Georges Blanc in Vonnas, Ferran Adrià at the legendary El Bulli, and the unforgettable Troisgros brothers in Roanne to name just a few, the Cerea brothers are now continuing the family tradition in their native Brusaporto with their restaurant Da Vittorio. “Intuition is our finest ingredient!” The pair are ready to rumble for the fifth time in their Engadine offshoot, Da Vittorio – St. Moritz, this winter season at the Carlton Hotel. Doors open on 16 December 2016.
