The World Defense Show (WDS), organized by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), announced the reservation of 50% of the exhibition space allocated for the third edition in 2026.
According to Asharq Al-Awsat, the show received a great demand from international exhibitors after the success of the second edition in 2024, which witnessed the turnout of 773 exhibitors in an expanded area last February.
The CEO of the exhibition noted that the team will work to raise the numbers of official delegations, exhibitors and visitors, in addition to increasing the numbers of speakers and participants in discussion sessions and presentations.
He also indicated that the WDS is working on supporting the global defense and security industry, as it’s a gateway to partnership and collaboration with the Saudi Arabian defense industry, and more importantly the show is a truly global networking and policymaking event, welcoming senior delegations from around the world to meet representatives of the international defense industry in a confidential and impartial setting.
