Since we tasted the first one, we have been crazy about Italian Neapolitan style pizza and have eaten it all around the world. Originating in Naples, Italy in the 1700’s this type of pizza is thin with a raised cornicione (outer edge of crust) that delivers an amazing smoky flavor from being baked on stone and kissed by open flames at over 800 degrees. Our mission is to deliver this classic style of Italian pizza around the world in the most affordable manner without compromising quality or flavor.
Luckily for you, we met some equally crazy Italians along the way who combined traditional Italian pizza oven construction with new world technology. Our Italian made Turnstone pizza oven turns a 6 inch solid baking stone with exact timing while precisely adjusted flames in the chamber, and under the baking stone, cook the perfect artisan pizza from the top and bottom in under two minutes. Italians can be so cool.
