The National Water Company (NWC) has completed the implementation of two major water supply projects in Al Diriyah Governorate in Riyadh, with a total cost of more than 140 million Saudi Riyals and a total length exceeding 26 kilometers. This is part of the company's continuous efforts to strengthen the infrastructure in both the water and environmental services sectors and to complete its initiatives to increase the coverage of services provided to its customers.
The company said that the two projects will improve the water supply to Al Diriyah and a number of districts in Riyadh, including: Hittin, Al-Nakheel and Al-Khuzama, in addition to feeding the Diriyah Gate project. NWC pointed out that the quantities of water that will be added by these projects will reach 146,000 cubic meters per day, which contributes to improving operational efficiency, increasing coverage rates and improving the quality of services provided to customers.
