Minister of the National Guard Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah opened on Wednesday the Jeddah branches of King Saud University for Health Sciences and King Abdullah International Center for Medical Research.
The Center for Integrated Specialist Clinics in Khozam and Primary Healthcare Center in Sharaie were also inaugurated.
Prince Miteb also laid the foundation stone for King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children as well as a neuroscience and surgical center.
The campus of the university’s Jeddah branch, situated at King Abdulaziz Medical City on an area covering 75,000 square meters, will have a capacity to accommodate 4,000 students. This is the second branch of the Riyadh-based university.
The 350-bed King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children with a 21-story tower will be constructed on a total area of over 99,962 square meters.
